There are Black Friday SSD deals still available now, even though the day itself has officially passed by, which means you haven’t missed out on the sales if you’re just catching up now. However, the clock is ticking so if you’ve been holding out for the best prices then now is the time to make a decision, as these offers aren’t going to wait around for much longer.
Is a PS5 SSD on your wishlist to add some much needed storage space and speed up those boot times? Save $40 – The Samsung 980 Pro is one of our favorite SSDs for gaming as well as being one of the better PS5 SSDs for your console, too. With that said, you will need to buy a heatsink to be able to push this drive to its limits, as it can get hot. Need some more storage? The 2TB version is also absurdly cheap right now at $319.99 ($110 off) from Amazon.

Save $40 – The Aorus 7000s is a solid choice if you're looking for a PS5 SSD to upgrade your console with at an affordable price, and the included heatsink means you don't need to worry about that side of things as it's already covered.

WD Black SN850 2TB w/Heatsink | $500 $449.99 at Best Buy
Save $50 – WD offers some of the best drives around, and if you're looking to basically future-proof your PS5 by adding a huge 2TB of internal storage then this SSD is heatsinked up and ready to go.

WD Black SN850 1TB w/Heatsink | $269.99 $249.99 at Best Buy
Save $20This one was a bit lower earlier today, but $20 off is still a good deal for this lightning-quick WD SSD. The non-Heatsink 1TB is also heavily reduced, down to $149.99 (from $230) if you have a DIY heatsink solution to hand.

Save $150 – This is another solid entry into SSDs if you don't want to spend a ton but still want fast gaming performance thanks to its 1TB of memory and 3,470MB/s transfer speed, and at $150 off list price it's hard to go wrong with this WD.

Save $10 – There isn't a huge saving to be made here, but this is an amazing SSD and heatsink pairing which has been developed specifically for PS5 use. Part of the heatsink replaces the standard PS5 expansion slot cover, allowing heat to be transferred through and dissipated by the system fan, which is a very cool solution.

Save $100 – This SATA drive might not be as fast as the newer NVMe stuff, but it does get you a terabyte of storage and faster boot-up speeds for $90, which definitely makes it worth considering.

We've been waiting a while for it, but the 980 Pro has finally arrived in the UK with Samsung's own heatsink fitted. No big price reduction as yet, but the mere fact that it's available at all means this popular PS5 SSD should be under consideration.

Save £68 – Samsung are a highly trusted name in storage and this is the lowest price we've seen for the excellent 980 Pro. It's compatible with PS5 too, so pop your own heatsink on there and you're all set.

Save £49 With a third off this marks the lowest price we've seen for this SSD, and it's dropping very close to the sub-£100 bracket now. Remember that it isn't equipped with a heatsink though, so you'll need to add one if you're planning to install it in a PS5.

Save £65 – It's the historic lowest ever price on the 1TB configuration of the Sabrent Rocket 1TB. While it is a Gen 3.0 model, you're getting more-than-respectable speeds for what you're paying here.

Save £102 – This impressive external SSD packs a whole 2TB of fast and reliable storage into a tiny unit, making it perfect for use on the go or tucking away behind a console, and a £100 discount makes this a very tempting offer. The 1TB version is also reduced from £115 to just £64.99.

Save £141 – The T7 portable drives are known for their fast speeds of up to 1,000MB/s, and with Samsung you can be assured of quality and reliability. This is the cheapest we've ever seen these external SSDs, but do check the different color options as the prices can vary between them.
